Mega Man: Anniversary Collection

Filed under: Technikul, Gaming/Games, Entertainment — trunkwo @ 3:46 pm

I have this game from my gamecube, and its a really cool concept, however…

Megaman

….looking here, they switched the buttons around, making it almost unplayable because of it..

In addition, the original functions of the B and A buttons have been reversed in the GameCube release: B jumps while A fires, whereas it was the other way around in the original NES versions.

I’m calling Capcom to find out what can be done about this. Fellow friends also have the game and they noticed the same thing. At the very least, Megaman being on of Capcom’s finest franchises and recognized characters in a video game, they could have at least put in an option to switch them back. …

Updates…

Filed under: General — trunkwo @ 2:37 pm

Here is a run down of hapennings:

LAN - going to the BoxHeads Halloween LAN on October 28th..ironically in the same building as RoC. I’m putting this up here so taht I do noth ave to confirm with Chaplain …again. But then again, their times are screwed up on the page.

Home - Some asshole dropped off 2 malnourished kittens at work today; I guess better in a secluded office area with lots of people, intead of a busy intersection with lots of traffic. I am taking one of them, and another guy here at work is taking the other. I need to come up with a name for a small fuzzy black female kitten, with white paws.

Weekend - Went to the RenFest. Again. Got my mom her presents. Got myself 2 necklaces and a ring:
Pepi
Tantric Star of Inner Balance (found under Eastern Pendants) & Barbaria’s Cross (couldn’t find it)
Also started going through the things that were left behind from the previous tennant, which I am going to check on, as I came across some very *personal* things.

Thats about it.

I am sick of people thinking I am 100 percent at fault for everything. There isn’t a single person that should ever think this way.

And now..for the most useless argument ever..

Mark Rein, one of many designers involved in the Unreal Project….

“I’m bitterly disappointed that they’re shipping a 32-bit version of Vista - I think that’s very short-sighted, I really don’t see the point of it,” Rein told us. “I think they [Microsoft] kind of capitulated to Intel… I think Intel put the squeeze on Microsoft and said ‘We’re still going to do some 32-bit chips, you’ve got to do a 32-bit version’.”

Read the rest here

According to this, Microsoft is releasing a 32 AND a 64 bit version of Vista. So, when it comes time to choose, pass over the 32-bit section, and go the 64-bit route. It’s like going to a restaurant wanting a hamburger, and complaining that they also have fish.

And, on the other side of the spectrum, Gameshark.com posted an interesting article about how some SP games can be MMORPG’s…read that…here!
